New era
The latest chapter in the company's history. Alawar releases Beholder 3, Necrosmith series, Wall World, Necroking, and many other games. Beholder: Conductor, a spin-off to the franchise, is in the works.
2020 - Present
Publishing
With the rise of the Steam store, Alawar starts to publish video games there, such as Do Not Feed the Monkeys, I am not a Monster, and Distrust. The popular Beholder series is born.
2014 - 2019
Expansion
Alawar ventures into mobile and console game development and porting, and starts to explore free-to-play models.
2009 - 2013
Distribution
Alawar creates its own distribution platform, focusing on shareware games, and expands to four studios: Stargaze, Friday's Games, Five-BN, and Dream Dale. The birth of Farm Frenzy and The Treasures of Montezuma, popular casual franchises.
2003 - 2008
Beginnings
Alawar is founded by Alexander Lyskovsky and Sergey Zanin. The company begins to make and publish games, the most famous of which are Puzzle Rally, Bubble Bobble Nostalgie, and Magic Ball series.
